The new U-Mask Model 3 is hand-washable - you can hand-wash its filter up to 20 times up to a temperature of 40 degrees. The cover can be washed whenever you want at the same temperature.

As stated in U-Mask Model 3 user manual, the filter should be washed when deemed necessary, for example when it appears particularly dirty, stained or has a bad odour.
